Important note From August 24th, 2026, we're bringing back List Export with a new experience for everyone.
How to Sync Contacts to Your CRM
Open a list of leads in Sales Navigator.
Launch the Surfe side panel.
You’ll see the list of contacts from that search.
Select the contacts you want to add to your CRM (up to 25 per batch of export).
Instantly see which contacts are already in your CRM before syncing.
As you browse your prospect lists, anyone who has been added to your CRM will now appear directly in the Surfe side panel. Their names are clearly indicated, giving you an instant visual cue so you know exactly who’s already in your system.
This update helps you avoid duplicate entries, focus on new leads, and streamline your outreach process — all without leaving Sales Navigator. Your CRM data is always visible alongside your LinkedIn workflow, keeping prospecting efficient and organized.
Surfe makes it effortless to keep track of which contacts are already in your CRM. If you see your CRM logo next to your contact, it means they're in it.
Just click on the logo to access their profile in your CRM!
Export Limits & Daily Sync Allowance
Exports will be limited to 25 contacts per action/export.
Users can repeat the action multiple times throughout the day until they reach their daily sync allowance.
The Surfe side panel will display how many syncs/exports remain for the day.
Daily limits remain unchanged:
Pro: 1,000 contacts per day (equivalent to approximately 40 Sales Navigator pages)
Essential: 100 contacts per day (equivalent to approximately 4 Sales Navigator pages)
Remaining Export Quota
To help you keep track of your daily usage, the Surfe Side Panel displays your remaining export quota directly while you're working.
Depending on how many exports you have left, you'll see different messages:
- Remaining exports – If you're approaching your daily limit (fewer than 25 exports remaining), you'll see a message such as "Only 20 exports left today" so you can plan your outreach accordingly.
- Quota renewal – The Side Panel also lets you know when your export quota will reset (for example, "Quota resets tomorrow").
- No exports remaining – Once you've reached your daily export limit, you'll see a notification indicating that no exports are left for the day. Trial and Essential users will also see an option to upgrade for higher limits.
- Upgrade prompts – Non-Pro users may see contextual upgrade banners to increase their export limits as they approach or reach their quota.
⚠️ Important: CRM field mappings
As we transition fully to the Surfe Side Panel, some CRM field mappings that were supported by the legacy extension will no longer be populated.
If your CRM workflows rely on any of these fields, they may be affected:
- Sales Navigator ID
- Sales Navigator URL
- Object URN
- Entity URN
- Connection degree
- Connection date
- Connection request date
- Skills
- Languages
LinkedIn Bio and AI Summary will also be changing: these will be merged into a single Profile description field. Existing mappings will be migrated automatically; we'll share more details on this migration separately.
List name will also change. It will now contain the name of the Surfe list the export lands in, rather than the automatically generated Sales Navigator title and timestamp.
If you rely on any of the deprecated fields in your CRM workflows, please review your mappings to make sure your workflows aren't affected by the transition to the Side Panel.
