Recommendations in the Surfe App

To receive recommendations, you only need to define your ICP on the Home page.

Surfe then uses your ICP + job-change signals to suggest the best companies and contacts to reach out to.

Recommendations automatically surface companies and people who:

  • Match your ideal customer profile

  • Match your target persona

  • Have recent job changes (high-intent signal)

2. Why it helps you

  • Saves time by suggesting relevant accounts for you

  • Spots leads who recently changed jobs

  • Gives you a daily list to start your outreach

  • Helps you find companies aligned with your ICP

  • Keeps your pipeline full with new, relevant ideas

3. How it works

  • You set your ICP filters on the Home page

  • Each workday, Surfe recommends companies based on these filters

  • Surfe also highlights job changes among people in those companies

  • You can quickly see if the account already exists in your CRM and if they’re not, just hover the contact and sync them to your CRM

  • You can see who owns the account before you reach out

    Edit your ICP

  • You can now review your ICP setup and edit it to improve the accuracy of your Recommendations. Simply click on the "pencil" button to edit it.

New! To help you better understand your total pool of potential prospects that match your ideal customer profile, each job title is now automatically enriched with:

  • Up to 10 closely related semantic matches

  • Acronym expansion and contraction using a curated dictionary

💡 Why it matters

When you search for a title like “CFO,” Surfe will now also match “Chief Financial Officer” — and vice versa.

Hiring Signal for Smarter Prospecting

Surfe now highlights companies that are actively hiring as a buying signal in your recommendations and company profiles. When a company is recruiting in your target departments, it automatically ranks higher in your recommendations and displays a Hiring badge.

How it works

  • Companies hiring in your target departments are prioritized in your recommendations.
  • A Hiring badge lets you quickly identify active accounts.
  • Open the company side panel to view the individual job listings behind the signal.

No setup is required—this feature is automatically available in your recommendations, helping you prioritize outreach to companies that are actively growing.
